Please email kelly.christian.irc@gmail.com to register for a MIP session.  There are no restrictions on who can sign up.

Mandatory Information Program

As the local service provider for the Province of Ontario Family Services, we provide Information Sessions to the public in a two hour session, held at the Courthouse three times per month.  These sessions are mandatory to court participants, but available to anyone who would like to attend.  Everyone is welcome to attend.  The 2020 Schedule can be accessed here.

Common Questions

How do I change my assigned MIP date?

If you are not available on your assigned MIP date, you may attend another date but you have to be careful to attend on the same type of day, i.e. if you are an "Applicant" you must attend on an Applicant date - you are not to attend on a Respondent date so that you and your opposing partner will not be there on the same date.

You do not need to "book" in advance.  Please look at the schedule and pick another date and then you will be asked to sign in on that date.  If you are a Respondent, attend on a Respondent's date.  If you are an Applicant, attend on an Applicant's date.  You could also email our Coordinator for more information.

To arrange for an interpreter for your Mandatory Information Program, please email the Coordinator or call 519.973.6620 ext. 4264.
